R2A Academy's Robot Buddy AI tutor and related features use artificial intelligence to support your learning. This page explains what that means and what you should know before relying on it.

What Robot Buddy does

Robot Buddy provides age-appropriate explanations, debugging prompts, and hints grounded in your current module. It is designed to support your thinking, not to complete assessed work for you. Teachers can review AI-tutor conversations as part of normal academic oversight.

AI can make mistakes

Like any AI system, Robot Buddy can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information — especially around hardware safety, electrical wiring, and technical specifications. Always verify safety-critical instructions (voltage, wiring, power) and graded-assessment guidance with your teacher before acting on them.

What Robot Buddy is not

• It is not a substitute for teacher instruction, grading, or safety supervision.
• It does not make final decisions about your grades, certificates, or course completion — those are determined by the platform's recorded progress data and your teacher.
• It is not a licensed medical, legal, or safety professional, and nothing it says should be treated as professional advice.

How your questions are used

Questions you ask Robot Buddy, together with your current module context, are sent to the AI service that powers responses. We do not use your conversations to train public AI models. See our Privacy Policy for how this data is stored and retained.

Reporting a problem

If Robot Buddy gives you an answer that seems wrong, unsafe, or inappropriate, stop and ask your teacher, and let us know at info@robotspace.ai.
